For Philippe and Eric VIGEAN, oil is likened to a good wine.
It should be soft to palate, pleasant to taste and should have a good colour. All our seeds and fruits, organic or non-organic, are rigorously selected and controlled before purchase. This control is carried out using the following documents: organic certificate, farmer's organic licence and certificate of analysis, macroscopic and sensorial analysis. On delivery of the raw material, we check all the documents, the sampling and the analytical control in our laboratory or we send the samples to other private laboratories LACAPA (66350 Toulouge), ITERG (33600 Pessac) and the public laboratory of the Service of frauds (DGCCRF - 91744 Massy).
For the product traceability,
we allot a lot reception number to each raw material after having carried out a preliminary chronological test DLUO 18 (control of product freshness). This lot number is used for the identification and the follow-up of the transformation of the raw material into the finished product. The storage of seeds is carried out in the well-maintained silos and where the hygroscopy is controlled permanently. Each silo is intended to store only one type of raw material in order to ensure a better traceability and to avoid any cross contamination. The organic products are controlled and certified by an independent organization ECOCERT (32600 ISLE-JOURDAIN). This control of the raw materials relates to the mode of production (organic or non-organic), the absence of pesticides, GMO or others chemical compounds of synthesis.
All our raw materials are rigorously cleaned,
(dirt and dust) before cold pressing and certain seeds are hulled (sunflower, pumpkin seed). The cold pressing is done by a continuous screw press at slow speed and a temperature lower than 40°C. Our oils do not pass in a centrifugal machine, they are simply filtered on food blotting paper, without chemical additives to give it its limpid appearance. The finished product is the cold pressed organic oil, a natural juice that contains all the essential NUTRITIVE elements, characteristic specific of pure natural product quality.

- seeds preheated before pressing (expeller) only to temperature of 20-25°C : pumpkin seed, sesame.
