Food security is a priority.

Throughout the manufacturing chain of the oils, but also during their shelf life, the Vigean family guarantees better quality and traceability of their products until delivery. For a long time now, Mr Philippe VIGEAN introduced an oil policy statement (HACCP) to the mill and a system of quality management.

Mr Philippe VIGEAN maintains that obtaining good oil is a direct result of :

  • Highest quality raw materials
  • Efficient Equipment and logistics
  • The personnel applying Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Hygiene Practices (GHP)


A quality process and food security are based on :
  • A preventive approach founded in the precautionary principle following upstream traceability of all raw materials from the supplier;
  • A curative approach following downstream traceability of the finished products to the customer and final consumer;
  • Product traceability throughout the manufacturing chain;
  • Emergency withdrawal plan for the products in the context of a crisis situation.


That is why Vigean oils offer to consumers all the guarantees of certified higher quality and control. Their system HACCP according the Codex Alimentarius, concerns quality control, food security, and the protection of the environment.
