Candied little turnips

  • 1-2 turnips boots with stalks
  • 2 teaspoon of coconut oil for cooking
  • 1 organic lemon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
  • salt pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil Tunisia-spain

Prepare your small turnips keeping them whole with stalks, wash; Meanwhile heat the pan, add the turnips and after 5 minutes sprinkle with sugar, cook gently caramelize for all under cover (15 min).
Take the tip of a knife as soon as it enters the turnip add the tablespoon of Tunisian olive oil, and gently finish cooking with steam for 10 minutes.
Remove from pan and turnips Add 4 lemon slices, cook for 3-5 minutes.
